Rearsby Road Playing Field

Rearsby Road Playing Field is owned and cared for by the Parish Council. As well as being available to the public the Council leases the space to Queniborough Football Club for its training and home matches.

King George V Playing Field, Coppice Lane

The King George V Playing Field is held in perpetuity for the residents of Queniborough. The Parish Council is the corporate trustee for the park.

The park has a children's play area; tennis court; basket ball court and outdoor gym equipment.

The tennis court is available for any village resident to use on payment of a fee of £10 for a key from the Parish Office. Court bookings are made at Crossroad Stores, Queniborough Road, Queniborough during normal opening hours. Bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance for 1 hour blocks, with a maximum of 2 consecutive hours.

Access to the parks for people with disabilities

There is access to the parks for people with disabilities and are unable to use the pedestrian gates. Both parks have padlocks that can be opened using RADAR keys. These are the same keys that can be used to unlock disable toilets.

Queniborough Cemetery

The Parish Council is responsible for the cemetery on South Croxton Road.

Public Spaces Protection Orders - Dog Control

The Parish Council has Public Spaces Protection Orders in place to deal with various dog control issues, including dog fouling, dogs on leads and dogs in children's play areas.

Dog owners are guilty of an offence if they do not pick up after their dog at any of the Council's parks or cemetery. No dogs (except assistance dogs) are allowed in the children's play area at King George V Playing Fields. All dogs must be kept on a lead at the cemetery.
