Property Flood Resilience Repair Grant available to flood-affected residents in Charnwood

The Property Flood Resilience Repair Grant is currently available to residents in Charnwood whose property experienced internally flooding between 19 October – 25 October, 2023 or 2 January – 12 January, 2024.

You can receive a grant of up to £5,000 which must be used on making the property less vulnerable or better recoverable should flooding occur in the future.

The process includes a survey on the property ahead of work being able to take place.

The grant is being administered by Leicestershire County Council on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. You can view the criteria for the grant on the County Council's website.
