Financial Information and the Transparency Code

In 2015 The Department of Communities and Local Government published a Transparency Code for local councils. There are statutory obligations for Council's with an annual turnover of less than £25,000 and for those greater than £200,000.

Under the Code, Queniborough Parish Council will, on request, make available financial information required of larger councils

Precept

The Precept is the element of your Council Tax that is paid to Queniborough Parish Council.

The Chairman of the Council, Stephen Wright, has an allowance of £320 per year. This was approved at the Council's Annual Meeting on 18th May 2022 (minute 7549).
